Dear Friends,
We would like to extend an invitation for you to participate in the 18th annual Nyemchek’s Junior All-Star DanceSport Championships which will be held at the the Marriott Teaneck at Glenpointe Hotel in Teaneck, New Jersey on Saturday, November 9th, 2013.
At this year’s event, six lucky couples will become the recipients of scholarships. Three couples will win for Latin (Junior, Youth and Under 21 ages) and three for Standard (Junior, Youth and Under 21 ages). We have also added, “The Shklyaver Scholarship Award” for the top Honor Dance for the Junior Age Division of the Latin and Standard Scholarship.
We have also added scholarships for the following overall winners of: Newcomer Latin, Newcomer Standard, Pre-Bronze Latin, Pre-Bronze Standard, Bronze Latin, Bronze Standard, Silver Latin, Silver Standard, Gold Latin, Gold Standard, Pre-Champ Latin, Pre-Champ Standard, Open Amateur Latin and Open Amateur Standard.
We will also be awarding trophies to the top Open Singles in these divions as well. Latin and Standard Style and from Newcomer all the way to Open Amateur divisions. New this year will be the Open Singles Partner Scholarship Award. The Open Singles Partner with the most Open Singles entries will be winner of this award.
In addition, the John Nyemchek Memorial Scholarship Award for the most promising dancer or couple will also be awarded. We’ve also added CLOSED categories in the International style competition for the less experienced couples.
Honor dances will be performed by the winners of our Standard and Latin Scholarship winners.
Nyemchek’s Junior All-Star DanceSport Championships is centered around the future of tomorrow’s ballroom champions: our youth. It will give our junior amateurs a chance to compete in all categories and levels of dancing as well as exhibitions and scholarships.
We hope that you will participate at this truly fun and exciting event either by competing or just joining us as spectators and cheering our children on.
